Nidek AL-Scan

The Nidek AL-Scan is an all-in-one instrument which provides all measurement and calculation options required for intraocular lens (IOL) implantation in cataract and refractive surgery. The instrument applies the PCI technology to measure axial length. Corneal power is determined with classical keratometry, ACD by means of Scheimpflug imaging. Modern image analysis provides further data on white-to-white and pupil diameter. For IOL calculation the standard formulas are implemented. Optionally, a built-in ultrasound biometer is available.
