Zeiss IOLMaster - with new features and modern computer hardware

The new IOLMaster contains modern computer hardware and an up-to-date operating system with all required ports and additional software functionality which, among other, extends the system's fields of application to include refractive surgery with phakic intraocular lenses.
Post-Lasik IOL calculation as well as the option for simple data transfer to a PC running the Holladay IOL Consultant (HIC) software are also integrated.
In addition, the 4th software generation features a large number of improvements to small points of detail which have been requested by customers in the past few years.

New functions and features

Fast computer, new operating system
The computer was equipped with a fast, modern board and a CD-RW drive, operating under Windows XP Professional. The following ports are available: USB (2x), PS2 (2x), serial, parallel, VGA, Ethernet. The faster computer leads to significant time savings in keratometry and anterior chamber depth measurements.

New biometry formula: Haigis-L formula for post myopic Lasik/Lasek/PRK eyes
For Lasik/PRK/Lasek patients who are to undergo cataract surgery, IOL calculation is difficult, as the corneal refractive power entered into the calculation cannot be directly measured. With the Haigis-L formula, an algorithm for myopic PRK/Lasik/Lasek eyes is now available which solves this problem, since the calculation is performed with currently measured values.

New biometry formula: Power calculation for phakic implants
The software can be used to calculate the lens powers of selected phakic IOLs. The lens constants (manufacturer constants) are contained in the software and cannot be changed.

Improved connection to HIC (Holladay IOL Consultant) with Holladay 2 formula via Ethernet

4 in 1 (Multiformula) (Option A plus)
It is now possible to make a comparison (view and printout)of the computation results for the IOL power with 4 different formulas. This increases reliability in the selection of a lens power, particularly for short and long eyes.

Additional AL measuring modes
Additional axial length measuring modes for eyes with refractive intraocular lenses, piggy back lenses and pseudophakic silicone oil-filled eyes expand the system's field of application and facilitate IOL computation in special cases.

Extended data storage for measurement data up to 365 days

Storage of every specified target refraction

DVD drive installable for reading and saving data

Export of patient data to CD-RW or USB Flash Drive

Printout possible via network printer and pdf-writer

Speed of data transmission via serial port adjustable on IOLMaster
