Zeiss ACMaster - PCI biometry instrument for the anterior eye segment (discontinued)

Measurements of phakic and pseudophakic eyes:
  - central and peripheral corneal thickness pre/post LASIK
  - central corneal thickness to correct IOP readings
  - position of intracorneal lenses
  - position of phakic lenses, e.g. intraocular contact lenses
  - position and thickness of intraocular lenses
  - position of accommodative lenses (movement under accommodation)
  - anterior chamber (AC) depth and lens thickness (LT)of phakic eyes
  - changes in AC and LT in phakic eyes under accommodation
  - intralenticular structures in the crystalline lens
  - determination of IOL power in situ

Measurement conditions:
  - corneal thickness / AC mode:   along optical axis
  - corneal thickness / PACHY mode:   central: along visual axis; peripheral:
at 40 points on up to 5 circles
(1,2,3,6,9 mm diameter, 8 pos./circle)
  - anterior chamber depth:   along optical axis
  - lens thickness :   along optical axis
  - optical range of fixation target:   -3 ... +6 D

Measurement ranges:
  - corneal thickness:   range: 200 .. 800 µm;   display resolution: 1 µm
  - anterior chamber depth:   range: 1.5 .. 6.5 mm;   display resolution: 0.001 mm
  - lens thickness:   range: 0.1 .. 9.5 mm;   display resolution: 0.001 mm
  - corneal white-to-white:   range: 8 .. 16 mm;   display resolution: 0.1 mm

Length measurements with PCI precision:
  - light source: semiconductor laser diode (SLD)
  - wavelenght: 850 nm
  - time for single measurement: 0.3 sec
